Opening success in the Kent Foursomes!

A dull, May Bank Holiday Monday afternoon was the backdrop for our opening Foursomes knock-out match of the season with Hever Castle providing the opposition.

Jake Bacon & Scott Cullen managed to claw back from losing positions on the back 9 to grind out a well earned half, while the back match, played by Rowley Draper and Richard Moxham, was won convincingly 4UP to send us through to the next round. Mr Moxham put the success down to his partner being "boring and steady" from the tee enabling them to remain in strong positions throughout the match. However I would rather this be viewed as simple and unrelenting consistency!!

The reward for our efforts is a home tie against Royal Blackheath. (Date TBC but will be played before the 5th June)

Well done all!
